The National Railway Museum has identified a new miniature railway as being central to its future development. A contract notice was released on March 3 seeking tenders for the project. It is split into four packages: 1) design of the scheme and provision and installation of track and infrastructure; 2) provision of locos and rolling stock; 3) ground works and services; and 4) stations and outbuildings.The deadline for applications was March 28.
