Blue Hercules to debut at Mid-Norfolk gala

One of the first big diesel galas of the year is the Mid-Norfolk Railway's event on April 4-6. Star of the show will undoubtedly be Boden Rail Engineering's Class 50 No. 50007. For many years this carried GWR lined-green livery and the name Sir Edward Elgar, but following change of ownership it has reverted to a more traditional BR blue livery and regained its original name, Hercules. This is its first appearance since being repainted.
