Corris Railway's new replica Corris carriage No. 22 will enter service on September 6. It is the first clerestory roof carriage to run on the line between Corris and Maespoeth Junction since 1930. Replica vehicles on the revived section of railway thus far have elliptical roof lines. Construction of the vehicle has been funded by Mike Cruttenden to encourage volunteer work on the Corris revival. No. 22 was built in the carriage shed at Maespoeth Junction, and while presenting a Victorian external appearance, it has been built to modern safety standards and has extra provision for passengers in wheelchairs.
