Gresley Society Trust rocked by resignations over mallard statue

All three members of the Gresley Society Trust's sculpture group resigned in protest at the trust's decision to remove a mallard duck from a statue of Sir Nigel Gresley destined for King's Cross station (see last month's issue, page 10). The three are publicity officer Dennis Butler, fund organiser Nigel Dant and trust vice-president Andrew Dow, who passed away a month later (see obituary below).
