TRANSPORT for London has announced 4G mobile phone coverage will be extended to all underground tunnels by 2019. The news follows a successful trial on the Waterloo and City Line in summer 2017. Mobile network operators Vodafone, O2, Three and EE took part in the W&C trial, which gave engineers the chance to practise installing cabling and equipment.
