Western Steam 1948-1966

THIS new bookfrom author Peter Tuffrey and photographer Ben Brooksbank is their fifth collaboration, and takes the reader on a pictorial journey through the British Railways Western Region in steam days. From immediately post-Nationalisation to the last days of Western Region steam in 1965, Ben photographed a wide sweep of the region from Paddington to Dawlish, Gloucester to Shrewsbury, and Wrexham and Swansea.
