Member Returns to Alma Mater to Share Experiences

On Dec. 5, 2012, Halifax District Insp. Trish MacCormack and Olympic paddler Karen Furneaux were guest speakers to a group of 200 attendees at the Dalhousie University "Women in Leadership" dinner. The focus of the evening was to promote how experiences as elite athletes have positively impacted the professional careers of female Dalhousie University alumni. MacCormack is an alumna of the Dalhousie Tigers basketball team and holds a Bachelor of Recreation from Dalhousie and a MBA from the University of Phoenix.
