Waertsilae's slick Swedish deal

Laurin Maritime has placed an order for six Waertsilae Senitec oily water separators. Last year, Waertsilae acquired Swedish company Senitec AB, specialising in environmental technology products for separating waste such as oily water and sludge. This buy-out has enabled Waertsilae to expand further into the Swedish market, an advantage reflected when the firm received an order from Gothenburg-based Laurin Maritime AB.
