The RINA Safety Committee has judged the papers submitted to the annual ship safety competition that invites industry and academia for proposals to improve the safety of ships, seafarers, passengers and the environment.rnThis year's winning entry in the Industry Category was awarded to Burness Corlett -Three Quays Ltd. for the paper: A Floodable Length Surfaces (FLS) Tool -for ship subdivision design. The award was accepted by author Daria Cabaj, consultant naval architect, Burness Corlett-Three Quays.
