Houlder sets up LNG project team

Marine design and engineering company Houlder, developer of the Houlder Turbine Access System (TAS) for offshore wind farm support vessels, recently announced that it has established a new project team at its London, UK headquarters, dedicated exclusively to LNG equipment projects. Current team members include Ian Meaden, formerly of Lloyd's Register (LR) Gas Ship Centre of Excellence; Des Upcraft, also ex-LR; and Lijo Thomas, previously with Wavespec, LR and Global Maritime. The team claims that it expects to recruit more industry experts in the coming year.
