The Brazilian offshore market has become a tougher nut to crack in the past couple of years, as far as landing new OSV contracts is concerned. However, despite a slowdown in shipbuilding activity, the doors to this territory remain open to foreign naval architects, even if securing newbuild orders has become more of a challenge than it was five years ago.
