L-3 SAM Electronics breaks into offshore wind sector

L-3 SAM Electronics is to supply and install a comprehensive electrical system package on an accommodation platform in the German North Sea, which is currently being built for offshore wind farm technicians servicing the forthcoming DanTysk turbine array. The DanTysk wind park, which is scheduled for erection roughly 70km west of the island of Sylt, will cover a total area of 70km~2 and is intended to generate 288MW when completed.
