Swire Pacific Offshore's (SPO's) latest crew transfer vessel (CTV), Pacific Kestrel, joins a new breed of high-speed offshore support vessels dedicated to carrying wind farm turbine and oil and gas platform technicians from shore to site in as quick and smooth a manner as possible. Having previously designed Caspian Marine Services' 70m loa sister CTVs Muslim Magomayev (delivered in 2014) and Rashid Behbudov (see Offshore Marine Technology Q4 2016, pages 16-17), Incat Crowther drew up the plans for Pacific Kestrel, on behalf of SPO, as the first of the designer's new Offshore Express 57 class.
