Key topics aired at IMO design and equipment sub-committee

The International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Sub-Committee on Design and Equipment (DE) met for its 47th session at IMO headquarters in London from February 25 to March 5 2004. Delegates from BIMCO participated together with 54 member Governments and 23 inter- and nongovernmental organisations and UN agencies. Many key topics - some controversial - of interest to naval architects were discussed.
