BrunvoLl has signed contracts for system deliveries of propulsion manoeuvring and control systems for four newbuild longliners bound for Norway.Odd Tore Finnoy, CEO of Brunvoll Group, said that these new orders are important to the company because they are an important indication of the company's strong position in a demanding market which has plenty of heavy competition. "Close cooperation with ship designers and shipowners with high demands on environment, safety and quality gives Brunvoll valuable and important feedback in our endeavour to offer optimum solutions for the specific vessel and segment," he said.The first vessel is a Skipsteknisk designed longliner for Atlantic Seafish of Norway that will be built at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey. Brunvoll's system supply for the vessel consists of a two-speed propulsion system, combined retractable azimuth/ tunnel thruster unit, stern tunnel thruster andintegrated control system. Meanwhile, Vaagland Batbyggeri is building a new Skipsteknisk designed longliner called Geir for H.P. Holmeset. It will be equipped with the same propulsion system as Atlantic Seafish's new vessel.
