Can providing smaller bins reduce the amount of waste generated? A new scheme suggests it can. They say size doesn't matter; it's what you do with it that really counts. And for South Gloucestershire Council's waste reduction strategy, it couldn't be more true. In an attempt to cut the amount of waste going to landfill, and meet the Government's waste reduction target, the council is asking residents to think about the amount of waste they generate and how it is disposed.
