Utility Systems Management

摘要

In recent years, the Department of Defense (DOD) has focused increasing attention on the management and maintenance of its billions of dollars of built assets on military installations. The U.S. Air Force alone has a physical plant profile of more than $243 billion in plant replacement value. Improvements to DOD asset management practices have been driven by compliance with financial management regulations and the need to maximize asset performance while reducing lifecycle costs in a time of significant fiscal constraints.
