Powering Air, Space and Cyberspace

It takes the combined efforts of all our military services and the whole of government to support our national security objectives. Whether responding to security threats or a humanitarian crisis, the Joint Force contributes capabilities necessary for protecting and recovering our nation, as well as projecting our national interests around the world. This interagency approach inherently builds interdependen-cies among the services, and the U.S. Air Force is certainly an essential partner in assuring Joint mission success by contributing unique core, enduring capabilities. Americas Air Force plays a foundational role in how our military fights and wins wars, responds to disasters, supports diplomatic engagement, assures our allies, and myriad other tasks the U.S. military is called upon to perform. The Air Force's ability to rapidly respond gives our nation an indispensable advantage that we must retain as we plan for an uncertain future.
