Aviation must surely be the most cross-border industry in the world. That's why the Brexit negotiations are so high-stake for us and our profession. But it's also why we as BALPA value our international reach. We have to be global because the threats against us come from all angles - domestic, European and global - and pilots ply their trade over the world's oceans and crossing the continents. Stopping at the water's edge is not an option.
