LeafNut: Remote Monitoring and Dimming via the Web

Over 4 years ago, we set ourselves a challenging task - to develop the 'holy grail' of street lighting, a wireless, web-based street lighting control system, which could dim and switch multiple lanterns, as well as offering detailed operating data on energy use, potential lamp failures and other problems. In April we launched the new system, called LeafNut, at Light+Building in Frankfurt, amidst a buzz of interest from local authority engineers and lighting manufacturers alike.
