LIGHT CO_2RE - The Highway Electrical Carbon Calculator

In 2008, the Carbon Trust formally approved a project to develop and distribute a Carbon Calculator specifically for the highway electrical industry, with a particular emphasis on public lighting. The project team was overseen by the ASLEC-HEMSA Sustainability Forum, with support from key industry partners and the Institution of Lighting Engineers. The timeframe for the project was to develop and pilot a calculator, called LIGHT CO_2RE, by the end of March 2009, ready for distribution thereafter.
