It is an honour and a privilege to accept the role of President. I will represent the institutions members, from all sectors of our industry, to the best of my abilities throughout my year in office. I came into the lighting industry in 1983 as a trainee lighting technician with South Yorkshire County Council and everyone told me I'd got a job for life.
