Maths Week Ireland 2011

The sixth annual Maths Week Ireland will take place from October 15- 22 all around the island of Ireland. Maths Week Ireland has grown in five years to become an international leader in the promotion of maths. Over 100,000 are expected to do special maths activities in school during the week and thousands more will attend events all around the island. It's not just for schools though, as there will be family activities and evening activities for adults. Maths Week this year includes the birth date of Martin Gardner, the famous puzzler, and to mark this there will be a fun gathering on the evening of Friday, October 21 at the Science Gallery, TCD, Dublin.
