Transforming Dublin Airport is the name given by the DAA to its overall investment programme - of which T2 is a key element - to deliver new and improved customer facilities at the airport and enable it to grow efficiently to more than 30m passengers per annum. Between 2006 and the end of 2010, the DAA will have invested more than €1.2bn to address the congestion issues that had arisen at the airport due to strong traffic growth over the previous decade. The investment programme also has the objective of delivering sufficient capacity to attract additional aviation services to Dublin Airport into the future.
