The Ryan Hanley Award 2010 goes to NUI Galway students

The Ryan Hanley Award for 2010 has been awarded to Joseph Lucid and Damian Kearns Final year Civil Engineering Students from NUI Galway following the presentation of papers that took place on Monday, April 12 at NUI Galway. The winning presentation on the night was based on their Final Year Engineering project entitled The Use of Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) Rod Reinforcement in Low-Grade Irish Grown Sitka Spruce Glued Laminated Timber.
