As current chairman of the North West region, it gives me great pleasure to introduce this report on a location where engineering interfaces with and complements both local business activities and the natural beauty of the landscape, from the breathtaking scenery at the top of Ben Bulben to the waterfalls in Glencar. This report outlines the current and planned engineering projects in Sligo and Leitrim, the facilities and amenities available, current and planned industry and the advantages of living and working in the area.
