Shell appoints new managing director

Michael Crothers has taken over as managing director of Shell E&P Ireland Limited (SEPIL). A Canadian-born chemical engineer, Michael has worked in the oil and gas industry for 28 years, 24 of those with Shell. His most recent role was as general manager of expansion operations for Shell's upstream business in the Americas, based in Canada.
