From the highest mountain in the world to the highest cradle in Ireland

Skyway Safe Access Equipment Ltd, (Skyway), an Irish specialist sub-contractor of suspended access and fall prevention equipment, has been awarded the International OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Accreditation.Skyway says it is the first safety at height specialist in Ireland to achieve this significant standard. A special ceremony to recognise the event took place at the 17-storey Elysian now dominating the Cork city skyscape. The Elysian is officially Ireland's tallest structure - ahead of both Dublin's Liberty Hall and Cork's County Hall. To mark the occasion, Mr. Meegan invited the renowned Irish climber and world record holder of the seven-summits mountain peak challenge, Mr Ian McKeever to join him in a skyway cradle suspended from the Elysian. This cradle system is one of many systems that Skyway design, install & maintain throughout Ireland to allow safe access to the facade of buildings.
