JOHN SISK & SON BECOME THE 100TH COMPANY TO ACHIEVE CPD ACCREDITATION

John Sisk & Son recently became the 100th company to achieve Engineers Ireland CPD Accreditation. Sean O'Donoghue,Training & Development Manager with John Sisk & Son told the Journal what CPD has meant for their business. Sean first outlined why John Sisk & Son had sought accreditation: "Over the last ten years we have invested considerable resources in developing CPD structures within the company. These include professional development programmes, safety programmes, mentoring systems and performance management systems. "Similar to our accredited management systems in relation to quality (BS EN ISO 9001:2000), safety (OHSAS 18001) and environmental (EN ISO 14001), we sought accreditation to gain recognition as a Best Practice Company in the management and delivery of CPD."
