Chartered Engineer salaries hit €75,000 to €90,000 range

Chartered Engineer salaries are averaging in the €75,000 to €90,000 range, according to the latest Engineers Ireland salary survey. For Chartered Engineers, since the previous survey in 2005, average gross annual salary rose to €75,165 in the engineering consultancy sector, to €85,417 in healthcare and medical devices and to €91,741 in construction. The findings of the 2008 survey show a considerable difference in salaries across the membership grades and categories, and while this may be unsurprising, it does underline the importance of good experience to salary scales.
