The National Ploughing Championships 2008 - Join in the fun

Engineers Ireland is delighted to have a big presence at this year's National Ploughing Championships, with something for all age groups. At the Engineers Ireland stand, the engineering behind computer gaming will be explored. Careers and membership information will be available with young engineers from the locality present to chat about the choices they have made in their careers. The Engineers Ireland awareness programme for schools, STEPS to engineering, will be present at this stand and will also share a stand with strategic partners Discover Science & Engineering. This promises to be a hive of activity for the younger audience with amazing technologies and challenges for people to participate in throughout the day. There will also be plenty of K'NEX kits available to try your hand at inventing and designing. The Engineers Ireland team will be there to help you enjoy the festivities, and welcomes everyone to call into one of the stands to say hello.
