Amdocs ChangingWorlds was founded in 1999 to commercialise its award-winning mobile data personalisation engine developed as part of an extensive research program in the Smart Media Institute at University College Dublin (UCD).In August 2007 it was identified that mobile operators were unable to garner real-time business intelligence to monitor usage trends, analyse user behaviour and track revenue in order to make informed business decisions. ChangingWorlds identified the Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer standard as a driver for developing software to service this gap in the mobile phone market. In December 2007, the organisation successfully achieved the title of CPD Accredited Employer and by leveraging the CPD framework clear and tangible business benefits were soon apparent.
