DUBLIN HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HIGH PERFORMANCE CUTTIN

"I want to do high-precision machining. I want to shorten machining times. I want more efficient production." For manufacturing companies involved in metal cutting, these are never-ending challenges. The organisers of an international conference on high performance cutting to be held in Dublin in June believe their event will be of great interest to engineers working to meet these challenges and keen to get an insight into the future of precision manufacturing. The 3rd CIRP International Conference on High Performance Cutting will be held at University College Dublin on the 12 - 13th of June 2008. International experts from industry and academia will discuss high performance micromachining processes in terms of the fundamental sciences and engineered systems required to meet the needs of the industry technology roadmap for the 21st century. Contributions will consider the needs of biomedical, aerospace, automotive and general engineering sectors.
