Possibilities in 3D

Given all of the hype surrounding 3D printing, one could be forgiven for thinking it was invented yesterday. But the TCT Show, which opens its doors for the 19th time later this month, is a reminder that 3D printing is, in some respects, a pretty mature technology. Running from 30 September to 2 October at the NEC, Birmingham, TCT Show + Personalize (as it's now known) is the UK's leading event for 3D design and manufacturing technology. Held annually, it showcases around 200 exhibitors and features the entire spectrum of 3D printing and additive manufacturing machines, as well as supporting technologies and software for scanning, digitising and inspection, and for design and manufacturing. Around 10,000 people from more than 50 countries are expected to attend this year's event.
