Investment boom in low carbon technology

Over £1 billion has been invested in UK companies which specialise in products and services to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide over the past five years, according to a report from the Carbon Trust. Meanwhile, a group of US and European investors has pledged to pour $1 billion over the next year into low carbon technologies and is pushing for greater disclosure of climate risks.
