Glass recycling problems stem from processor's fraud conviction

The high price of glass packaging recycling notes shows not enough glass is being recycled. One reason is a big accredited recycler has been issuing fraudulent notes. The spot price of glass packaging recy cling notes (PRNs) reached £75 in October - more than ten times the price a year ago. The price, generally below £10, has been climbing though the year: up to £35 in July, £45 in August and £65 in September.
