Poor chemicals management costs billions

The multi-billion dollar costs of damage to human health and the environment from poorly managed chemicals have been highlighted by UN Environment Programme (UNEP). The finding forms part of UNEP's first Global Chemicals Outlook, published as a prelude to a conference on sound chemicals management due to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, during 17-21 September as ENDS was going to press.
