The chair of the wildlife regulator, Natural England has said the UK government is reversingthe decline of nature in the UK for the first time since the Industrial Revolution and will setBritain on a path to becoming “nature positive” by 2050.In an interview with the Telegraph, Tony Juniper said he had “never seen this level of attention, ambition and activityon the natural environment” and vowed that the decline of Britain’s carbon footprint would be met with the creationof new habitats and landscapes.
