What the Tory conference tells us about future green policy

Despite the environment being roundly ignored in Theresa May's speech, save for a cursory mention of "conserving it for the next generation", clues to the Tories' green plans could be gleaned from the conference fringes. At one fringe event, organised by Greener UK, environment secretary Michael Gove dropped hefty hints that the forthcoming environment bill would contain binding targets and include measures to address climate change.
