Aluminium aerosol and bottle canmaking company Exal Group has appointed John Friedery as its executive chairman.Friedery succeeds Delfin Gib-ert, who founded Exal in 1993 and will continue to serve on the company's board, as well as pursue "a lead role in an exciting international joint venture with Exal", said a press release.Ohio-based Exal, which was acquired by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in 2010 for an undisclosed sum, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aluminium aerosol cans and bottles.
