Based on the company's existing Mars-DMA gauge for can ends, the Mars-AER is customisable to operate on any range of aerosol lid and end sizes, says the company. By using hoppers for multiple can end diameters, and an automated end handlings system, the gauge is able to process any sizes of aerosol ends. The Mars-AER automatically rotates each end to take measurements at up to 50 points around the circumference.
