摘要

The facade was fabricated using 7m-long, 140-1,470mm-wide extruded aluminium profiles that were pre-stretched and bent according to our 3D model. These were sprayed offsite with a highly durable silver gloss metallic paint from Awlgrip, specifically used for painting yachts. The aluminium extrusions form a tongue-and-groove system. Each profile was clamped to a circular aluminium support, allowing for the rotation required for the fixings on the curved profiles. These supports were fixed to huge galvanised steel fins cantilevered from the primary structure, forming the gentle curve of the eye-shaped windows.
