The year of the AJ Buildings Library

In 2011, AJBuildingsLibrary.co.uk was launched as an exclusive service for AJ subscribers. Architects can view photographs, drawings and technical data for more than 1,200 exemplar projects in this online digital archive, including more than 150 of the best projects from this year. The AJ began its role as an archive of great British buildings in 1895. The AJ Buildings Library continues this task in the digital era, when not every practice can afford the shelf space for hundreds of magazines, or the salary of an in-house Librarian.
