Is Boris Johnson compensating for something? The Mayor of London was on his usual form at the (extremely premature) launch of the first phase of development opportunity in the Olympic Park. He talked up how big the Olympic Park will be, saying it is set to be the largest built in the UK for 150 years. He admitted earlier claims about it being the most expansive in Europe since the 19th century had been withdrawn after a complaint from Stuttgart.
