Five chase Clapham Junction revamp

Competition Hawkins Brown, AHMM, BDP, Terry Farrell and Wilkinson Eyre have been shortlisted to look at resurrecting the multi-million pound redevelopment of Clapham Junction in south-west London. Site owner Metro Shopping Fund has selected the five practices to look at the plot next to Clapham Junction station with a view to appointing a team to carry out a feasibility study. The move by the Land Securities and Delancey-owned joint venture comes three years after it was forced to withdraw a controversial £400 million twin towers scheme designed by ColladoCollins for the 3.36 hectare site.
