Ellis Williams works across many sectors, including education, leisure, commercial and residential developments, and employs more than 70 staff in Warrington, London and Berlin. Since last year, Ellis Williams has had to reduce the number of UK architects that it employs by about a fifth to cope with the tough economic climate, pulling it down by 15 places in the AJ100 league table. But the firm remains keen to explore new markets.
