UEA Enterprise Centre gets the go-ahead

Architype has won planning for a £15.9 million new building for the University of East Anglia in Norwich. The Enterprise Centre will be built from renewable and locally-sourced materials and hopes to achieve both BREEAM Outstanding and Passivhaus certification. Half of the building will provide lettable floor space for SME start-up businesses, including offices, meeting-rooms and hot desks, with the rest providing teaching facilities for the university. The project is due to complete in fanuary 2015.
