Russ + Henshaw create tile installation for CDW2014

Russ + Henshaw has designed a tile-based installation to be exhibited during Clerkenwell Design Week. The practice is working with manufacturer Turkish Ceramics to create Tile Mile, a patterned tile installation which will be combined with infinity mirrors at St John's Gate in Clerkenwell. Lianne Russ, co-founder of the practice, said: 'The ceiling [of St John's Gate] is a double-vaulted soffit, and our tile design is a reflection of that pattern.' She added: 'Parallel mirrors are a fun interpretation of the optical effects mirrors can make, and will create the illusion of an elongated crypt-like space.'
