The international travel hub has overcome its problems of capacity, lack of commercial opportunities and onerous demands on passenger progress with style and aplomb We brought a fresh look to the rebirth of St Pancras International. The previous British Rail design drew heavily on the layout at Gare du Nord in Paris. There was too much movement for passengers between levels to get them up and over the lines and back down onto the platforms, which would have destroyed the views throuqh the expanse of the Barlow train shed.
