The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has launched a restricted international design contest for a new road bridge over the river Nidelva in Trondheim (pictured). Five teams will be shortlisted and invited to prepare designs following the completion of pre-qualification questionnaires. [Requests to participate due 8 August] The National Trust for Scotland is seeking an architect for the £12 million regeneration of the David Livingstone Centre in Blantyre. The winning team will carry forward Gareth Hoskins' masterplan to transform the famous explorer's Grade A-listed home into a jungle-themed adventure park.
